Simple Question - what elements must a game include to be a RPG, by what standard do we judge if a game is a RPG or not ? Your thoughts here please.

How is that even remotely on topic emo ? Since you seem to have a lot to say, why not actually reply to the post ?

Basically , in an RPG the stats of the player character(s) determine if you hit an enemy or not. In an action game it's determined by the player's skill.

Don't click dicksucker's link. That's just his fucked up biased thread. Just use the search function and stop being such an alt.
The Codex either brings the worst out of everyone or attracts the worst of mankind.

It's not. But since the topic has been discussed to death, back and to death again on Codex and the reason why you made this thread in the first place is just to push your own definition through which won't work, I thought I'll just make it about something remotely interesting and take a cheap shot at you at the same time.

I judge a videogame to be a videogame.

Genres only relate to expectations.

This topic was discussed before the decline took place. Therefore, nothing better that what was already posted can come out of this. I declare this thread declined.

No, you need stats for everything, even for how many wrinkles your asshole has - allows for careful planning of each fart
:D

if we leaned one thing from fable it's that farting can tremendously enrich your rpg experience, it's even better if you have stats for it that influence magnitude, decibel, duration and special effects like stun/nauseating etc
