In all fairness, like some people have already said, many of the English-localised VNs have their sex content removed, so you can go with that.
Or you could ask our resident modder Berzee to whip up one of his awesome modesty mods for the VN you want to play.

But like, are you searching for JP Dating Sims/Visual Novels translated to ENG, or just in General? In General I never search for English/Western ones, but it shouldn't be that hard to find - if good ones even exist LOL.
Though in all seriousness: Check out VNDB, and just search by Original Language/Platform/whether its 18+ or not/what Rating Score it has (whether its viewed as good or not). Slay the Princess it there, so probably most non-Asian VN adjacent Dating Sim-likes are there as well.
For JP you could try Kanon, Clannad or other VNs created by Key. They usually don't have erotic scenes now, and even the previous older games had option to skip them (cuz they were rather short and meh anyway). But the Protagonist is usually around High School age. VNs with Adult Protagonists marketed towards Straight-Male audiences usually have ero-content in them - it's kinda expected in such types of media...
Depending on how it was handled, I personally wouldn't recommend playing JP Novels that were previously 18+ and were censored to All-Ages. Only 'cuz in some cases the translation is completely bastardized and the VN with missing content is a complete mess (like the 'official' ENG translation of -If my heart had wings-), or it just sounds like characters clearly had sex, but it's completely glossed over, purposefully hidden/gaslighted like it wasn't so, and reads like a bad soap opera, where they would be having emotional elations or breakdowns over nothing - 'cuz it clearly wasn't 'climbing the steps of adulthood', ri~ight!? At least it was like that, when I read the All-Ages -Brighter than Dawning Blue-.
