Basically there are some issues from piracy concerns to credit card fraud. Issues which a small developer like Wolf is able to solve simply by sending out CDs. When big game companies like Valve still cant get digital distrubition like Steam to fully protect their games like Half Life from piracy and the costs of risking credit card fraud for a small developer, in the end it makes sence.
