I think animal fucking is in the other game (set in ancient Egypt). This one seems to have mostly human on human action.

Granted, those people are from different planets and the main heroine can turn into a bird-like creature, but still, she's quite hot in her human form.

We're talking about triggers for arousal here, not gameplay. I reject the reduction of the powers of imagination to larping.

Larping in a cRPG is when you pretend that there are choices and events that aren't actually in the game, and play as if they were. You pretend imaginary choices have a gameplay impact. In this case this use of imagination is unwarranted because it does not correspond to what's really in the game, while it is perfectly normal to use imagination when looking at a potential object of desire, as desire is intrinsicly tied to imagination.

So I finished the demo. Screwed 4 available girls out of 5. Will try to do better next time!

It was quite fun. The combat is similar to Spiders games - you have melee attacks, timed blocks, and parries, plus projectile weapon at your disposal. While combat with one enemy might be quite easy especially the type available in the demo), when two of them jump you things become more complicated and may require a tactical approach. There is also a talk of some boss creature and the end of the hunting grounds, but to reach it I'll probably need to find a tribal weapon and go hunting with the last lady I did not manage to seduce this time (she does not want to hunt with you when you have a gun, probably need to find some bow in the village).

Sex scenes are well done and quite diverse. They are always tied to some minor quest of fetch variety, but structured in a way that makes you want to do all the fetching. The visuals are pretty and even the area available in the demo is quite vast.

When you finish the male mercenaries demo, the female wildling babe demo is unlocked. Unfortunately, it's a very early pre- pre-alpha. You just walk and fly around a really big and obviously unfinished area. It allows you to try her special ability - growing wings and moving via air (like Jax in Elex 2 with his upgraded jetpack). Just a curiosity, but a nice one. Allows you to see the scope at which they're going.

All in all the demo made me more interested in the game and I'll be watching its progress closely from now on.

you can swim, but the water is quite shallow in the location of the demo. I did not try to swim somewhere else and try to dive.

On the other hand, the game has climbing (available for characters who can't fly), so there is vertical movement.

I completed the demo a second time and have new things to report.

1. Managed to score the fifth and final lady - the huntress. Screwing her takes more effort - you have to take part in the hunt for the "space deer" (basically a small dinosaur) which is very easily frightened so you need a stealthy approach and a bow. You can fail this quest and then there's no honey at the end.
2. There are several variations in each sex scene. Besides you can stop each phase and watch it from every side with active camera - or rely on movie one, which 'directs' the presentation of the scene.
3. There are stealth kills if you manage to sneak up on the unsuspecting enemy!
4. Blocks and parries are really time-sensitive and easily missed.
5. Save system is now based on check points, but the devs promised that the full release will have a fully functional save whenever you want feature.

Wild Life is supposed to be an action rpg. The action part is already quite good - fighting is nicely done, you've got several ways to approach each encounter (melee, attacks from distance with pistol, rifle or bow, stealth). Climbing and jumping allows for some vertical exploration. I don't know anything about the RPG part - the character screen is blocked in the demo, so I know nothing about stats and the ways to improve them. Inventory screen is quite developed - your character can wear 5 parts of clothing (or walk naked - which some characters observe and acknowledge or criticize) and carry up to 4 weapons (there are only 4 in the demo, so it's not much of a choice). There are also quest items, collectibles, crafting materials, the usual shit.

Unfortunately, the newest builds of the game are restricted to the Patreon whales, so we're not going to see it for some time. Anyway I like what I've seen and hope they will not miss their planned release date - 2024 (though they probably will).
