I am too cheap to buy an official controller, but want to play shit like street fighter on my PC. Will a generic controller work?

Sure, but they're also shoddy pieces of crap you'll hate to play with. Buy the official controller and you have a sturdy, well-built piece of crap. If it's not worthwhile to play with M&KB, it's not worth playing at all (exception to the rule: Dark Souls).

But yeah, those 360 clone controllers will do just fine; some come with their own drivers but you shouldn't need to mess around with those, just plug and play.

:brodex: Thank you. It just feels like shit playing fighters with kb&m. Maybe that is due to my days playing SFII for the SNES as a kid.
