I was part of the FO2 translation team, fucker. And the translation is ok except for the translation of proper names, which wasn't our choice, but CD Projekt's.

You're obviously biased. I've seen both of these translations in action and couldn't get past The Hub in FO1 and Cryptopolis in FO2 because of their crappiness (I usually go the way Arroyo - Klamath - The Den - Modoc - Cryptopolis). :P

I thought the Polish word for "vault" was "krypta".

'Vault' may mean several different things, just like GrudgeHolder pointed out. And Polish is such kewl a language that each of these meanings gets its very own word. 'Krypta' does mean 'vault', but only as a # noun: a burial chamber (usually underground), and I don't think that's the meaning that FO designers aimed for.

I suspect the professional voice overs will be spectacular in the Polish version. As for the English one... hmm.

I want them to hire all the actors that starred in Witchar: Teh Movie so they can do a crappy job (NO proffesional voice actors, oh no, that's un-cool). And it'd be uberkewl if they did voice overs in other languages, too... that would be hilarious.

I always liked the way the necromancer looked in Diablo II, so it's nice to see a game sporting a main character that looks just like him. And like Elric of Melnibone. And I too am tired of extensive inventories. But I'm also kind of tired of playing linear combat games, so unless they've added lots of non-linearity I think I'll remain bored and rich, just itching for a game worth upgrading my computer for.

Sounds like a good idea to give up the turnbased part of the Aurora engine though, but I wouldn't expect anything less from a game dedicated to fighting. Oh, and 'coup de grace' effects in bullet time sounds fun. For a while...

Well, I was only translating some of FO2, and of the above only part of the Den was mine.

Yeah, Necro is c00l.
But who looks like him? The main character? Nah, he kinda looks alike, but not much. But still good, yeah.
Necro is older and more cryptic somwhat...
