That's why you get the dos version at all, to keep the :obviously: crowd from going full :outrage:. Not saying they're wrong, I never played it in Windows.

Is the bug that causes warrior class to take double damage from weapon attack present in both versions? If so, is there any patch fixing this?

Well, I kinda THINK I was experimenting with Windows 3 / 3.1 and WfW back then, and if I still had the CD, I might play it again, but I have no idea where anything that old managed to get itself hidden in, after 26 years!

Yes, mad god's cosmic forge editor can fix this using the Patches patch manager.

and more patch examples:
~ Race 'Felpurr' receives 'Thick Fur' Feature: Grants -2 bonus to Armor (Anti-penetration) AC.
~ Race 'Rawulf' receives 'Thick Fur' Feature: Grants -2 bonus to Armor (Anti-penetration) AC.
