Bethesda today announced that they'll be releasing two novels set in the Elder Scrolls universe.
Some synopsis:
The Infernal City is set after the events of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion®, the latest game in the video game series, and finds the citizens of Tamriel once again facing an uncertain future. Floating high above the land is a strange and mysterious city that is casting a horrifying shadow – wherever it falls, people die and rise again as undead. It is up to an unlikely duo – a seventeen-year-old girl named Annaig and the Emperor's young son, Prince Attrebus – to rescue the kingdom from doom. Annaig and Attrebus' quest will take them through the Elder Scrolls universe and their adventure is sure to add to the series' already magnificent mythology.
OMG, plottwist! There's a son alive after all!

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Why didn't they start doing that during the Morrowind times? Back then those novels would probably have been good.

Will you have to flip pages with a wheel?

It will come with an audio cd, narrated by Patrick Stewart. And the book will include three dimensional figures that arm themselves when you open the pages.

Daggerfall times would be better. Tits and penis were common words in some of the books. Interesting is that the same books in Morrowind were modified or had cuted out some of "bad" content.

Okay this is worse than Dragon Age.
Well, if you want decent TES books you can always read the better in-game stuff.

Daggerfall had problem of being much more generic and much less cohesive. Not that I wouldn't want grittier, less censored world. Still, I can't help but admire MK for what he managed to push past the censors.

:salute:

I've recently tried Stonekeep and becouse of that I've done some resarch. I've discovered that after relese of Stonekeep a book covering events between first and second game was written. Guess what. There was no Stonekeep 2. Mayby this is a good omen.

And by "completely different" they mean that they have given up on all attempts at trying to create something original themselves and have just decided to copy the fuck out of generic fantasy like they already did with Oblivion, right?

It sounded eerily reminiscent of DnD E4, in any case.
