You'll find that a ton of people here can't help powerleveling or using exploits and then screaming the game sucks.
Michael Mack, who also voiced them in Oblivion and provided the voice for Cyrus.Who did the voice acting for male Redguards in Morrowind? That voice is so soothing and friendly.
I mostly agree but not fully.Yes and no,
Mechanicaly wise, yea it was decline (i really miss DF chargen) but at least they gave a great gameworld in exchange
Oblivion didnt give you a shit that was worth the change
At least they should have used sum instead of average - plus constant for stuff like water or whatever you use as a base. They use a combined value of the ingredients used to make it. Most ingredients are pretty light.
Using a mod to set their value to zero isn't a bad idea - being able to craft better and lighter potions anywhere is already enough to make the skill useful, the money-making ability just makes it OP. Besides, I doubt alchemists would really buy vials of murky liquid from some random adventurer, even if he promises it's totally a potion of Feather + Restore Health. It'd be like a pharmacy IRL buying homemade Viagra from hobos.
Yeah, but that's only emeralds and void salts from mineral and mineral like substances. Everything else that doesn't look like it might be edible is generally harmful.Big deal. Eating emeralds in vanilla will restore your magicka.
This. If you choose an attribute you need at 1x instead of managing to get it to 5x or picking another you don't need at 5x what terrible tragedy will befall you? What is "proper influence" here? Do you understand that you don't have to fucking min/max everything to have a perfectly enjoyable game?It is simply not necessary.
1. If you want proper influence over the attribute multipliers, yes it is.
Proper mode should make emeralds inedible, not the other way around.
BTW: Does anyone know if MCP requires expansions?
The patcher currently requires Morrowind.exe 1.6.0.1820, that is, fully patched Bloodmoon or GOTY edition.
Vanilla also establishes that a bunch of disorganized devs running around like headless chickens can sometimes push out a stellar game.Irrelevant. Vanilla estabilishes nomming on rocks can result in good things. Problem?
I'd get the expansions at least for MCP support.No. I'm struggling to convince myself to continue playing as it is.
I could listen to him for hours.Michael Mack, who also voiced them in Oblivion and provided the voice for Cyrus.Who did the voice acting for male Redguards in Morrowind? That voice is so soothing and friendly.
What's the point? If you don't enjoy the game just stop playing, 1000 posts of other people who say MW is great will not change it. I am playing it right now and enjoying the game a lot with lots of mods and stuff adding to the content and would love to finish it during this playthrough (always got bored at some point earlier on).No. I'm struggling to convince myself to continue playing as it is.
I recall with one of my characters I was storing a bunch of ingredients and accidentally ate a piece of raw glass... My int was penalized as a result, I thought it rather fitting.
lolI've been playing this game a long time already, recently I started a new game (bis repetita). I will post my char specs for anyone interested in making the most op warrior (imo).

no, it's just the way you posted this makes it seems like you are offering some great wisdom while it is a fact that nothing matters in these games, it's impossible not to be a god even if you actively trylolI've been playing this game a long time already, recently I started a new game (bis repetita). how to make the most op warrior in any TES game:
start the game, create a character, play for 10 hours. Congratulations, you now can kill any enemy in the game.
You must be a nice person with great conversation. Oh, and you probably like TES games.
Don't be silly Excidium. Bar a single attempt at that Morrowind Overhaul thing, I only ever played vanilla Morrowind. So if someone wants to bitch at it, I want to see it.Might be useful for someone at least.Well I appreciate your concern but not everyone is into min/maxing at the very beginning, plus I'm not sure your remark takes in consideration mods. Vanilla Morrowind is pretty unbalanced, there's no doubt about this. But, once you patch the game/add some mods, it changes a lot. Still you'll have to play quite a bit in order to start owning everything as you say.
So here's 'great wisdom', it's a picture with all the recommended mods which turn Morrowind into a better experience.
It's all fun and games until you see some /v/ermin playing moranwind for the first time with those gay-ass models, some ridiculous view distance, GCD and what notThe lost isn't bad, it even lists Better Heads/Bodies among "models" instead of "MUST HAVE" like everyone else seems to do.
