Installed this game this morning, already finished it. It was short, but quite a good fighting game with some difficult parts [especially the final boss fight]. But the one thing that was really awesome about the game was the art direction, especially in the city, the foggy swamp and that fortress thing where you meet Golem. The landscapes are quite amazing and the art direction is refreshingly unique and strange. While the game itself was a bit too linear, the guys who made this game do have quite some talent. Often I wished this was a Morrowind-like RPG with lots of exploration, since the landscapes and strange creatures make you want to see more of that crazy surreal world. The plot was pretty interesting, too. And weird. The utter weirdness of this game is its greatest strength. Looking forward to seeing more games by those guys.

It was very 'meh' for me; you just use the same attacks over and over and the art style while interesting wasn't enough to hold my attention.

this news might be of interest to some:

http://www.destructoid.com/zeno-clash-i ... 2699.phtml

basically: the developers are working on a sequel (no surprise), it's taking off from where the first ended (no surprise). the neat bit is: they say that the sequel will have more open-ended gameplay, a larger world to explore, and rpg elements. seems they've listened to the major demands the fans of Zenoclash have been making.

'course, right now these are just words, we'll see if they deliver on it, but it's a good sign nonetheless. :)
