  1. Reccomend me a large, non-linear game

(It's been some time since I played it so correct me if I'm wrong) While I LOVE Arx Fatalis, I don't think it's huge and non-linear by any stretch of imagination.
  2. What upcoming RPGs can you be arsed to care about the most?

New Vegas personally, although I'm still being optimistic about another Deus Ex.

So the haircut wasn't just for the looks after all... http://imgur.com/WmUF7.jpg
  4. Game News Massive Fallout: New Vegas Info Package

Are you sperging about logic/realism in a game where you're a guy in a armor that is powered by miniature nuclear fusion reactor on your back that can last hundreds of years and you kill giant talking trees and robots that think they're old dead American politicians?
  5. Review Arcania: Gothic 4 Review

I don't know if it was in the demo, but here is a nice example of the Arcania's master writers' prowess: Are you pregnant?! Who told you? Halwen! The idiot! So you really are?! I have always wanted a baby... haven't you? Yes, but that... it's all so sudden... Fair enough... was there...
  6. Game News Dragon Age 2 Redefines Visceral Combat

What a shame. I guess they decided to redefine the combat Gothic 4 style :smug:
  7. Game News Arcania: Gothic 4 Demo Released

    WHAT. THE. FUCK.
  8. Gothic I, worth it?

I still like the first Gothic. If you are interested in the Gothic series, you should definitely play it.
  9. Game News Arcania: Gothic 4 Demo Released

Haha, so Oblivion and Fallout 3 are now WoW clones? When did that happen?
  10. Game News Arcania: Gothic 4 Demo Released

I agree, phelot, I have't had high expectations from G4 since the moment they started announcing some funny changes + the G3 fiasco. I have to say that the game is pretty well optimized and until you start speaking to someone or do anything in the world it resembles the old Gothic games (i.e...
  11. Game News Arcania: Gothic 4 Demo Released

I'm no modder but this seems FUBAR'd.
  12. Game News Arcania: Gothic 4 Demo Released

Yeah, this is by far the most dumbed down "RPG" I've seen. When you compare it to this generation's ARPGs like ME or Fallout 3, this sucks even if you don't compare them as RPGs. This pretty much fails as a game.
  13. Game News Arcania: Gothic 4 Demo Released

20 mins of demo gameplay. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJvjGCtT6Lc
  14. Game News Arcania: Gothic 4 Demo Released

The combat is by far the most dumbed down I've encountered. The enemy does nothing, I just keep clicking my finger off and wait until the "strong-attack-incoming" animation starts, roll to the side and keep on clicking. That's about it. I'll upload 20 mins from the demo for those who cba to...
