People like me get strong visions and feelings they normally won't talk about.
I had that weird sense that there was something much uglier beneath all of this that they may have claimed as pure chance that resulted in the game mostly designed as a pedophile pervert's paradise of hidden phallic imagery and concealed dicks and buttholes.

At no time in the 25 years I worked on Grimoire did I feel a powerful urge to fill it up with gaping buttholes and strange sexual imagery hidden everywhere. My impulse was always completely different and from another set of genetics that is the polar opposite of these creatures whatever they really are. Everything they touch is tainted with evil.
I filled my game with whimsy, fun and adventure in a rich fantasy world I hoped people would escape into while they played it. That's all these people cared about.

When I heard about the most perverted sex BBS in the history of the East Coast was run off Sir-Tech servers in Ogdensberg by Brenda with the full knowledge and cooperation of both Norman and Rob, I knew I had been right. I could see shadows moving back there and I knew that what I was seeing was just the tip of the iceberg of a really evil substructure. I discovered Sir-Tech had produced soft porn in the early part of it's history and the BBS must have started adjacent to that and turned into something else much weirder.
I told as much to Bruce Wilson, he scoffed at me and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. Then he told me about the ugly score of accusations that he was swinging with Norman's wife who was swinging with everybody there and they were all angry about weird perverted degenerate stuff that HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT OR COMPUTER GAMES, I was relieved to have all my suspicions confirmed. I told Bruce, I don't know why you would tell me about this. I no longer work there and you just told me they are not even going to let me keep the $100 486DX computer. Why would I want to hear about a fight you had naked covered in oil with Norm about who was going to bang his wife next and all that sick, diseased, insane crap?
Australians, they used to make me cry but now that I escaped that sewer all I can do is laugh. Klownworld central. The whole country is cringeworthy.
As for me, I don't have any real secrets and if I did they wouldn't be anything so disturbing I'd have to creep around my whole life doing damage control.
When I saw the odd interview with Brenda where she jumped onto me-too bandwagon and was claiming she was sexually assaulted/harassed/preyed on ... I really felt that vague story needed to be filled in with the details of Brenda's past. She was maligning all men but in fact it's just the people who showed up in the blind alley on Saturday nights with a bucket of Crisco responding to Brenda's freakadelic BBS of ultra-degeneracy.
WTF is this shit coming up in General RPG Discussion? I click on this in the recent post column thinking, "this must be about gamer intution regarding whether an RPG is good or not" only to find it's pizza gate + Sir Tech. DarkUnderlord Clean-up on Aisle #3!
