Completed Storm of Zehir after pretty much binging it. A campaign with some clumsy design decisions, and held back by a tight budget, but nonetheless a very fun experience and with a fun feel that is rarely seen nowadays (nor at the time when it was released). Some great encounters to be found here and there, though held back a bit by the wonkiness and bugginess of the engine.
Fun to sneak through the final dungeon as well.
half of the expansion takes place in boring industrial locations. They have decent level and encounter design, but visually look rather drab.
some enemies now have thief/nolf-style funny banter. Previously it was implied that enemies we kill by hundreds are basically brainless clones and have no consciousness. This new revelation makes Sam games kinda darker.
spooky area
each level has a nuDoom-style secret area that uses textures from The First and The Second Encounters. Made me miss chunky brushwork of older games.
AAAAAA-AAAA-AAA-AA!!!1
Another Doom reference (Doom 3 had similar stone panels).
Reptiloids :х-files music plays in the background:
The game is very good, probably the best Sam content since The Second Encounter.
Finished Valkyrie Drive -Bhikkhuni-. It was amazing, boatload of fun and very exciting. Decent length, took me around 72 hours to beat. May have taken a bit too many screenshots again, 1498.
Ranka has to protect the honor of her sister's tits.
God I wish I were that gun.
Manpukumaru-chan-san putting all the womanlets on suicide watch.
Just some wholesome sisterly fun.
Momo, the serial groper.
This hopeless lesbo.
God I wish I were that sword.
It is time. Time for Manpukumaru-chan-san's ultimate. As you can imagine, it's quite a riot.
This zoom in is an extremely important aspect of her ultimate.
Naked girls are ejected from destroyed boss body parts!
So not only can you molest the girls in the dressing room, but you can also give them massages! It's great!
Well? It's 2022, why don't you have a lingerie printer already?
The variety of spiders the game has thrown at me is fairly impressive so far.
I also have trouble recalling when was the last time a first-person game featued a sling as a weapon choice.
Still playing Conan Exiles RP. We switched to a more active RP server (English, called The Exiled, over 30 people in active hours, come join us!). The first picture is part of their custom map of Exiled Land, they've created a hub city called Sentinel Sanctum. The second pic is our clan's base (called The Pit).
DXVK + FusionFix (capped the game to 60fps to avoid physics bugs) + AMD Virtual Super Resolution (game rendered at 4k then downsampled to 1080p). No more stuttering, no more aliasing. DXVK does wonders on this game. Super Resolution is currently the only way to fix jaggies since this engine doesn't support any modern way of antialiasing.
Native 1080p. Just look at that ugly fence on the left and the wires. Yeesh.
