By the way, our preference is that they're no bigger than 80 x 80 pixels.

Some Silent Storm ones:

[edit]
Nevermind. These look real grainy because they went through compression twice.

I don't like how people can have the same avatar, each one should be unique to the one who chooses it.

Agree.

Twinfalls should be the only one allowed the Shodan avatar.

I always enjoyed the IWD2 avatars. The art style was pretty good and not terribly cartoonish or off puting (ie., Baldur's Gate 2).

Good thing, I just completed a new batch of X-Com avatars.

Mikail, there are a number of oversized avatars in various galleries. By the way, are there more to your sets? They seem rather limited for each game.

I like those ones, plus it's a decent sized set to add a section to the gallery. Any more of the the cast from that game to come, perhaps from the other Xcom games too?

Okay, avatars from the following games are in:
  • Anachronox
  • Freedom Force
  • Icewind Dale 2
  • Jagged Alliance
  • Jefferson
  • Oblivion
  • Star Control II
  • System Shock
  • X-Com
The M&B ones I thought about but decided not to unless we can get more of them. Silent Storm too. More would be okay then they can go in. System Shock is an exception to the rule.

Here are some more M&B avatars:

Here are some more Freedom Force avatars:

Once I figure out how to extract the System Shock models, I'll see about creating more avatars for it.

I think that avatars should all be of individual people (or creatures, etc.), not abstract symbols or groups of people.

Good point. But take a look at the Sims gallery.

It looks like System Shock 2 character models are a no-go. The model exporter only works with static objects. The guy who made the Rebirth mod is AWOL, too; so, I wouldn't be able to get them from him, either.
