This.Dicksmoker said:Poll is shitty. All four Elder Scrolls games grouped together despite the fact that they are severely different from each other? Only a fag will take part in this travesty.
Groupings are completely arbitrary.
Nor Anachronox, nor Homeworld, etc. Also no Deus Ex.

YES! This, a hundred thousand times this. Puzzles were extremely tough yet not as illogical as Hitchhiker's, the game was loaded with symbolism (sundial anyone?), the setting of the 2nd act is utterly surreal, and the prose is very functional yet GORGEOUS. My favorite Infocom game.gothemasticator said:Text adventure game, Trinity. Better than Zork and Hitchhikers, etc.
YMMV. In some ways, definitely. AMFV feels more like a book with minimal player interaction than a "real" game. As such it's the perfect beginner's indtroduction to IF. Trinity is anything but.SCO said:Is trinity better than a mind forever voyaging?
Both. (That's why some of those choices have more than one game bundled together.)PorkaMorka said:Are we talking the most fun for one playthrough or the most fun cumulatively over multiple playthroughs?
I'd go with Paradox's games if they appeared on the poll. But you have to take into account that they're too difficult a game in which to get involved and immersed, for some people.kris said:Europa Universalis 2. Because that is the game I played the most.
If Fallout never had existed X-Com would be a definite top contender, along with Civilization and others.Korgan said:X-COM UFO DEFENSE ENEMY UNKNOWN BIATCH, DO YOU KNOW IT?
