On May 9 2018, the Day the Codex Died, the Trump button ratings and a multitude of stock forum images were removed, apparently with the intention of making the forum less political. Though staff did eventually relent and make the Trump ratings available to everyone but restricted to the politics subforum, except for disgusting which was made available sitewide (and, at some later point,

became available in the General Discussion forum).
