Virtual tabletops if you want to play any real RPG , there's too few releases once every few years. Also look on rpgwatch news page, it's ton worse than here.

My sister, after procreating with a Chad years ago, has lately shacked up with Chad's opposite, a real dweeb (it's obviously impossible for him to be a proper virgin): allergic to sunlight, thin as a reed, long white-blonde hippy hair, glasses, wears black clothing and kilts, smokes doobies, is a career line cook (and is generally excellent at cooking and baking), and of course he's a computer and tabletop gamer.

Despite the fact that I can bench-press two of him and that he doesn't fish, I like him. I was actually his summer camp counselor once at the (literal) turn of the century, which is how they knew each other.

Anyway, I moved back to my hometown, and so did my sister at one point, and they want me to play tabletop with them. I'll consider it come winter, even though I pretty much gave up the hobby in 2010 due to the ubiquity of loser/smelly/woke/cringy players, shitty industry writers and publishing, general creative bankruptcy, the dumbing down of core mechanics, wokeism taking over, etc.

Don't get me wrong, tabletop of all hobbies has attracted feminists, effeminate men, homos, earth hippies, vegans, New Age crystal-gazers, furries, and introverted, fat, smelly losers for many years now. It just keeps on fucking snowballing, though, while at the same time the actual RPGs get dumber and dumber.

The community is bad, full of degenerates for sure, you have to cherry pick. Online a good DM get 100 applications for one spot. Took me a long time before setting a good perma group , it's not easy at all unlike what peple may pretend on forums, but worth it. You should still try to join them, it's family after all , it may end up helping you not finishing your life stranded and senile in a shitty retirement home. I strongly advise against trying with codexers , either people you really know or a drastic Human ressource like recruitment online.

To be entirely fair, Infinitron is aware that I'm pro-Israel, which may very well shield my account from being clandestinely Clintoned for my otherwise rampant casual antisemitism.

Infinitron is essentially a power user here. He tirelessly contributes, even if you (like me) don't give a shit about 99.9% of what he contributes. I can tell you that, even on my own forum (Goregrish.com), I tolerate power users' diva attitudes and behavior, because they do things, and I don't do jack shit; and I am generally not the type of person who shows favoritism even to people I like (I dislike most of my forum's power users, actually).

But they do things. Like me, DU does not do things, but Infinitron does do things, and he does a lot of them. I don't doubt that he enjoys some influence in the super-secret (and probably stone-dead) staff subforums for that reason; if he finds a user particularly onerous, perhaps something may happen to that user's account.

He is a Jew, after all, and an Israeli at that. He may even be a lawyer, for all we know. If he wants to get you, I'm sure he can find a way.

I will say that I've never personally greenlit the axing of an account for the sole or even major reason that the account's user was disliked by a power user on my own forum.

I don't really care about devs posting here as such, and contrary to your belief I rarely interact with them. However, I do read their posts when they choose to post here, and sometimes you'll discover that some retard who you've had your eye on for a while really isn't worth keeping around anymore when you see him chimping out in such threads. Not because you specifically want to defend the dev's feelings, but because it just helps you arrive at the realization that "OK wow, now that I've had time to think about it, this guy really is an asshole. Fuck him".
The posts of that asshole were much more amusing than posts of that dev with his worthless, forever-in-EA pseudo-RPG though.

No, I also trash-talk kinky dominatrixes, housewives on painkillers, goth girls, and so on (the significant majority of gore hounds are women nowadays, and in fact most of them are "normal") when they dare to express political opinions.

Bullying and degrading women is never a waste of time.

Considering that that particular woman is into BDSM and humiliation, being talked down to by the forum administrator is probably giving her a little tickle. We're providing each other with a service, because I'd rant at thin air if no one were around to hear.

Edgy, Anti-Semitic, racist, every post has at least one ethnic slur?

3pw363.png

I love this post, because it perfectly encapsulates the Codex.
In 99% of the internet, everything before the "but" would already answer the question.
Here in Glorious Codexia, that just means a pretty average poster.
Now, if you were an outsider, this would make you feel repelled by the Codex.
But it is the fact we can be "Edgy, Anti-Semitic, racists whose every post has at least one ethnic slur" which shows why the Codex is great.
RPGCodex: Where you can be you.
It's not about what he says, someone on the internet being a meanie. Wow big fucking deal..

The problem starts when retardos think being allowed to do something means you should do that thing. Before internet centralized there were plenty of politically incorect places but since there was no centralization, obsessively agressive retards weren't cornered and didn't feel any urge to turn wherever go to same banal shithole. If I was admin I wouldn't play change codex's rule much if I would changed at all, if you're an agressive idiot shitting up wherever you go banning you shouldn't be a problem. And it's hard to define what's retarded, every non retard already knows and mostly agree with what it is anway. So having right to seemingly arbitrarly banning people does the work here. I think that's what Blaine is suggesting to good degree.

Really?
Yes. A forum search for "housewife/housewives" can reveal me ranting about the housewife invasion as early as 2011-2012, but here's a prime example:

eb85402074.png

During the 2013 trial of Jodi Arias, who was convicted of stabbing her boyfriend, Travis Alexander, to death in the shower, so many normals (street-racing dudebros, gym bunnies, soccer moms, assistant principals, you name it) showed up at Goregrish by their tens of thousands to enjoy freedom of speech and to see the uncensored crime scene photos. We had to create a special subforum and categories for this reason and encourage them to stick to it. There were thousands of people online at any given time.

I'd be genuinely surprised if any other human being who's ever used the Codex since its founding has ever personally, materially, and financially sponsored freedom of speech online to the degree I have.

Yeah, see, that makes sense.
When I think gore I think cartel members wearing the freshly cut off faces of their dead enemies. I can't imagine chicks wanting to see that. High profile cases are another matter obviously.

Come on man. This is a bit like some sleazy porn producer thinking he's creating or facilitating art.
You're a gore peddler, pure and simple. Free speech ain't got nothing to do with it.

We all peddle something, even if only to ourselves.
The problem isn't your peculiarities, perversities or oddities BanEvader, it isn't even your complexes or serious issues.
The problem is when you are unable to manage them properly.

He appears functioning (matters, as it does affect reasoning) and logical; thus for the purposes of online communication (with all it entails, good or bad), it's all fine.
Don't project this too far as there's no need to.
No one told you to give him your address :)

* and i wouldn't either, the kind of person that gets off on such shit.. not for me; but this is just talk mate; something which judging by your tags, you may not have the knack for all that well yourself, yeah?

Tbh, most of the Infinitron hate is really unjustified.

It was Scruffy and some other admin who banned my old account for a while years ago after Scruffy baited me into spamming, and it was Infinitron who helped unban me.

Now, maybe he does have some money making stuff going on with the Steam curator or something, I don't know. But ftmp, other than him I think editing one post of mine years ago containing an inconvenient admission from a fellow tribesman, I haven't seen him do anything that DU wouldn't do.

That is, he may do things that are unfair or anti-free speech on occasion, but not usually out of some sinister plan to turn the Codex liberal or transsexual or whatever. There are certain staff members who might want to do that, and I think we all know who they are, but I don't think he's one of them.

I do find it suspicious that staff suddenly decides to stick up for the pedo gang for free speech, and yet bans random a-hole users for a straw that broke the camel's back type shitpost, but I'm not going to write that up to Infinitron specifically.

Shitposters around the world thank you for giving them a voice and letting them post absolutely nothing of worth for years on end, instead of being e-uthanised.

Is that game worth $20?

Yes, if you like pinball. I'm not even a huge pinball fan/wizard, I just wanted a computer pinball game to play occasionally.

Also, did your site come before ogrish?

No. Here is the official timeline. Organizing it as concisely as possible is fairly necessary in order for it to make any sense at all.

  • 2000: Ogrish.com website and forums founded by a short, fat, bald, Jewish man (this isn't a joke), forum username "CGAS"
  • 2002: I registered at Ogrish
  • 2005: CGAS sold out, transforming Ogrish into LiveLeak.com, a YouTube-like shock and video uploading site (recently defunct)
  • 2005: former Ogrish members (myself included) were greatly displeased, and dispersed to found several Ogrish alternatives
  • 2005: one of these alternatives, UncoverReality.com, was co-founded by a middle-aged British bricklayer, username "PeterPigMan," and a middle-aged American housewife on painkillers, username "Yhtac" (Cathy)
  • 2007: I became a super moderator at UncoverReality
  • 2010: UncoverReality.com had been overrun by Chinese spambots, malware, etc., due to its owners being middle-aged Baby Boomers who can't into computers, and was sold to some conspiracy theorist living in a trailer out in the middle of the desert (again, this isn't a joke)
  • 2010: Username "D.O.A." and I depart the ruins of UR and co-found Goregrish.com

As you can see, Goregrish has outlasted (and has been open longer than) Ogrish itself, as well as UncoverReality and any number of now-defunct gore/shock sites that have come and gone over the years. In a few more years, Goregrish may end up being the longest-lived, most enduring, and most successful dedicated gore/shock forum in the history of the Internet.

That's because I'm in charge, and I'm great.
