The game had a minimal presence during E3 earlier this month, but developer Anshar Studios did rerelease its demo as part of their participation in the otherwise uninteresting Future Games Show. I wouldn't be surprised if the "narrative branching trailer" released today on IGN was originally intended to be shown then. What can branch the narrative in Gamedec? Apparently pretty much everything. This is what it looks like when choice & consequence goes mainstream, folks.
Gamedec is releasing in September, but Anshar already have their next project lined up. Last weekend it was announced that they'd entered a partnership with a new Polish studio called Image Games (itself a joint venture between publisher Movie Games and well-known CGI studio Platige Image) to produce some sort of gangster-themed tactical RPG. Veteran designer David Jaffe is also onboard as a creative consultant. More details are available in this video. The game should be formally revealed next year.
