GameAxis have their <a href=http://www.gameaxis.com/articles/view.gax?id=195&gid=89>review[/url] of Knights of the Old Republic up. It scores a respectable 8.6 out of 10.

Several worlds are explored in KOTOR, some of which will be fairly familiar to those who have seen the movies. There’s the desert planet of Tatooine, Dantooine, and the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyk, among others. There’s quite a fair bit to explore on each world, and the maps are sprawling expanses of land filled with quests, sub-quests, and all sorts of mini-games that will take you hours to complete. You’ll need to travel around, talk to people, gain information, and involve yourself in various skirmishes here and there, all the while progressing through the epic storyline. There’s just so much to see and do in KOTOR; it’s not a game that you could just breeze through unless you’re willing to forego parts of the storyline and focus only on essential quests, and even then it could still take you a good 20 hours to complete.

Uh... I've run out of funnies (some may say I ran out of funny a few months ago, but that's another issue).

Thanks to Saint_Proverbius for pointing this out to me.
