The game offers players an enormous world comprised of 16 regions. This world contains detailed landscapes complete with villages and towns as well as a day-to-night cycle and varying weather systems. Regions vary from forests to deserts and catacombs to ice-covered landmasses. More than three quarters of the world is open to the players from the start. Other features include:

More than 30 main missions, over 200 sub-quests and bonus quests, a fighting system with spells and combo moves, battles that can be fought on foot or on horseback, upgrade items for more powerful weapons and armor, six playable characters with differing abilities and magic, 2 new RPG characters: Vampires and the Seraphim, multiplayer for up to 16 players via Internet or LAN

Ferrago posted a truckload of screens for those who would like to know what the game looks like. One of the screens shows how you can combine various skills like Blade Barrier and Lightning Strike into different combos.
