You might be wondering what the heck <a target=_blank href=http://www.cult.3dpeople.de/>Kult is. As it turns out, it's an upcoming fantasy RPG being developed by some Slovakians (Hooray for Eastern Europe!) who call themselves the <a href"http://www.kult.3dpeople.de/" target="blank">3D People. <a target=_blank href=http://www.fappin.com>Fappin (nice name!) has put up a short little interview with their lead programmer and PR guy about their upcoming game.

Here's a snippet:

How did the game come about?
The game was originally planned as adventure, afterwards it turns into action RPG with minimum dialogues and the result is adventure action RPG. You can talk in game with NPC’s, but don't have to, you can fight and cast spells, but nobody is forcing you to do so. If you just want to run away, you are free to go.

Tell us a little more about what the Dreamworld is.
The DW is parallel world with real world- something like astral world, where more spiritual things take place, you can talk to disturbed spirits, astral travelers, and monsters. Well, whatever you can do in real world you can do in DW as well, plus you can look for energy and knowledge sources, see the things that you can't in the real world, get lost from the real world if there is too much enemies (of course you must think that some of the enemies could follow you to DW also, plus monsters in the DW are often more dangerous than in RW...)
It sounds to me like there's a couple of ways to go about playing the game. I'm always looking forward to more dialogue-oriented games which place more emphasis on dialogue than most other games.

That stuff about the Dreamworld sounds pretty nifty, too. The Legacy of Kain action series also featured a similar gameplay aspect so I wonder how far the 3D People will take the Dreamworld with Kult. Also, it should be noted that the game is to be set as a single-player only title. Those are golden words.

Ausir's informed me that we've covered the game in the past (sometime in March) when it was known as "Cult". It's nice to see that they're still around.
