Tags: Nival Interactive; Silent StormRPGDot has posted their Best RPG-Strategy of 2003 with the big winner going to Silent Storm:
The winner: Silent Storm
In a world racing to produce simplified games with mass-market appeal and cross-promotional opportunities, Nival's WWII-themed Silent Storm dares to head in the opposite direction. Not only does Silent Storm feature detailed turn-based tactical squad combat but it also has fantastic isometric graphics and innovative, fully deformable environments that really impact the gameplay. Add more depth with some well-developed RPG elements and you have one of the best strategy games in years.
The only decent mass market game genre are the tycoon games. Give me depth in CRPGs, thanks.
Thanks, chrisbeddoes!
