Tags: Hellgate: LondonHellgate London gets a preview from The Laser, which basically offers up nothing new. Probably a summary of every other preview to date, but who cares! We got to post something.
During the game, players can interact with a variety of NPC and human characters online in additional missions, which will offer both solo and cooperative modes. During each mission, players will have to shoot the bad guys and can also collect a variety of items. As you progress through Hellgate: London, you'll earn more powerful spells and can also find additional items to upgrade your character's stats and abilities. While it's an RPG at heart, Flagship haven't neglected the action elements. Players will need fast reflexes and a good trigger finger in order to progress deeper into the game. This will also be reflected in the game's structure, since branching skill paths will open up as you progress through the game. The game's graphics engine is looking quite impressive at this early stage, with richly detailed environments and evocative character designs that should fully take advantage of high-end machines. HellGate: London's story and plot line will take players on a variety of missions ranging from solo excursions to all-out multiplayer battles. How come none of these previews mentions melee? Maybe in teh fewchure swords and maces have triggers!
