Other than games you worked on that were released this year, what video or PC game released in 2005 was your favorite and why?
World of Warcraft (in Europe it was released early 2005). I know for all US readers it may be a title of 2004, but in the end most played it much more in 2005 than in 2004. ;-) And to be true, it would be hard to choose something else - 2005 was a weak year, especially if you compare it to 2004 - Far Cry, Doom 3, Half-Life 2 - to name just "some" shooters! Most games I hoped for where delayed to 2006, for example Oblivion.
As we look ahead to 2006, what video or PC game that is currently scheduled to be released that year are you most looking forward to and why?
Titan Quest, as it may raise the bar for the action-RPG genre. In next year´s survey it´ll be either my top title or my biggest disappointment. I've never thought of TQ as a bar-raising game, so, Jan, if you still visit the Codex, care to elaborate?
