Tags: Icewind Dale 2Well, I forgot to post about this last night, and noticed that RPGDot posted it, so here it is. Our good friend, MageDragon of PlanetBG, has cut, copied, and pasted his his fingers to the bone, and produced a complete spell list for Icewind Dale 2 complete with screenshots. Here's a sample:
Minor Mirror Image
School: Illusion
Range: Caster
Duration: 3 rounds + 1 round/level
Casting Time: 1
Area of Effect: Caster
Saving Throw: None
Upon casting this spell, the caster creates 1 image of himself that will travel along beside him. The image will perform all of the actions that the caster does so that if any enemies are trying to attack the caster they will not know which one is real. The image will disappear with a successful Dispel Magic, when attacked or when the spell duration runs out.
Got to love the D&D spell system. How many "cure wounds" spells do you need in a system? Or summon monster spell? Or spells that make copies of yourself like the one above? Apparently a whole lot of them, since each of those basic spell concepts has dozens of the same spell, only each level spell is more powerful than the first so they can claim they have hundreds of spells instead of the fifty or so they really have.
