GameSpy has checked out and reviewed the first person, dungeony game, Arx Fatalis, giving it a 75%. Here's a smidge:

Bugs aside, there are other issues with the game's design. The first half is full of wonderful exploration and discovery as you figure out your role in the drama, meeting new NPCs and figuring out if they are friend or foe, as well as finding new areas to explore and new creatures to fight. After that, the game bogs down a bit because a lot of the quests involve you traversing over ground already covered many hours ago, and since very few of the monsters re-spawn, you're just walking around searching for the one clue you desperately need to continue your quest. It's a rewarding feeling when you finally stumble upon the item(s) you need, but when it takes you over two hours to find it, it can get more than a bit tiring.

Sounds like fun!
