Mysteries of Westgate Short Impressions :: rpg codex

With the release of Mysteries of Westgate on the horizon, a Spanish-based Neverwinter Nights community, Neverwinteros, was able to obtain a pre-release copy of Mysteries of Westgate from Ossian Studios. They posted some short impressions here. If your Spanish skills aren't exactly up to snuff, however, there is also a slightly rough English translation available over yonder.

And the truth is that it isn’t easy to live in Westgate not even find the typical quest of “bring my lost pants back”. All the plots fit into the adventure and that makes you think twice (or three, four times) before making a decision on your conversations. ). Three unusual companions (each of them more paranoid than the other) will follow us through the adventure with their weird problems, the dialogs of each NPC in Westgate are also noticeable…. and I don’t understand why my character hasn’t lost his sanity for the moment.

Choices and consequences? Insanity-inducing NPCs or a tense setting and atmosphere? Trouser bandits?
