Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Edit: more new footage. No real information, just some scenery/characters:

http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/7 ... last-look/

Second video has more content, if you don't mind listening to pointless conversation.

http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/137
new shouts: Ethereal form (makes you invincible but you can't attack), freeze form (freezes enemies) and elemental something which you shout at your weapon and makes it swing faster. The environments look a lot more varied than Oblivion's too. Might just be the second best TES ever.

Also, there's footage of the reanimation spell being used on a dead chicken.

edit:
Video of only the skyrim stuff cut out of the spike tv episode. Thanks to riptide.

edit 2: scenery pics

This one vaguely reminds me of daggerfall castles. Might be fun to explore now that it won't be some rng piece of shit i see in every dungeon.

All the more reason to buy the PC master race version.

Got disgusted by the music those gametrailer guys put in, closed the video. Everything needs to be "epic" these days. Gaming is dead.

Yeah, I remember the good old days when RPG plot lines revolved around feeding your cat. :decline:

GT guy: "What's the most impressive and anticipated feature of the game?"
Todd: "DRAGONS!"

Oh mang, I was already expecting that but still depressing to hear it.

I liked the dragon porn trailer, though.

"But... there is one they fear. In their tongue... he is 'Dovahkiin' - Dragonporn!" *epic music*

I'm willing to give Bethesda one last chance.

Besides, the bugs and balance issues in their games have always been hilarious in many (unintentional) ways, so even a crap game, if done right, may have some redeeming qualities.

All negativity aside, the scene at 18:05 is very impressive, tbh. I'm not sure how they managed to make that happen on a 360, but hats off to Todd and crew. :salute:

edit: by the way, watch as this thread gets a million replies while the Magic Candle, Betrayal at Krondor and Black Hound ones get three or four pages, at best

Ehh depends what what time frame do you mean for good old times? End of 80s or start of 90s?

My put-off is simply the writing, the Bethesda(Thanks, Spellchecker!) Writers are so indescribable bad.
It kills all for me, it's like watching TV, i get angry after 2 Minutes. Fallout 3 was the highlight, the writers should have been shot in the head...and the voice actors, too.

Will, of course, try the "Demo" for it.

Ah well, problem is, devs always bullshit before release and Bethesda is especially famous for this.
If the game turns out to be at least better than Oblivion I might end up buying it, otherwise probably not.

Still, one thing that Bethesdas games have going for them is the modability. If you look past the body replacers/anime girls/hair and sex mods, there really are a couple of gems.

Other than Fallout 3 the writing's perfectly fine. Or at least it would be if they had stuck with the Morrowind wall of text style interaction instead of embracing the decline that is dialogue trees. Instead, it's just mediocre, which is the best I can say for any video game. At least Fagellone had nothing to do with it, which is always a big plus.

Time frame doesn't matter, everything from Goldbox games to Fallout had "epic" storylines.

For some reason, I found the interviewer Geoff annoying, and why did they have to intersperse the skyrim coverage with other games like that?

To make sure people watch the entire show I guess. On the video i linked you can just click on the chapter breaks to avoid all that other shit, the skyrim stuff is always at the beginning.

Though that batman game looked pretty interesting.

Have you played the Shivering Isles expansion? Did you find Sheogorath, the deidra of madness lines really "fine"? Personnally I had never read such crap since kindergarten.

No, Sheogorath got on my nerves, but it's because I found his character annoying, which is a different thing from bad writing. I also find Kreia fucking annoying, even if the writing isn't bad.

Skyrim footage from the SpikeTV episode is here in HD. Someone was kind enough to cut the rest of the episode out and leave only the Skyrim-relevant clips in.

I was talking about the unneccsarly "epic" music when the video just starts - why I closed the video. Didn't even see much Skyrim Footage. Once again Mastermind proves to have amazing reading comprehension.

The MTV bullshit is what killed it for me. Can't get past the first 10 seconds.

As for the ethereal form, I'd like to see that used for quests and stuff. The idea of dual worlds is a cool one that's rarely explored by RPGs, so being able to become ethereal, a spirit etc. to interact with dead people and other spirits would be a really cool draw. However somehow I doubt that will be the case here.

Meh atleast we get a decent modding platform. But the whole pierced dragon dick/gay dragon concept I dont get, whats with the reptilian facination. Ill take normal porn over it every time, not that there wouldnt be that kind floating around affter release. Still time will tell if something similar to FCOM will surface .
