Doubt it'll ever happen, the way I hear it the devs kinda fucked it up and the porting would require rewriting large amounts of the game's code.

I read somewhere that since GTAV uses DX11 it should be less demanding on CPU because of ...something lower overhead something... shit I don't understand. Sounds cool though.

I would actually buy this if only MP was somehow able to hold Role Playing servers. But from what I gather, it's not really going to happen.
Would be kinda cool to RP all those gang wars and stuff. Pretty gay, but fun at the same time!

I don't understand why people think Max Payne 3 is such a quality port. It only runs well because it's a corridor shooter with small maps, low draw distance and insane loading times. It has typical dumbass mistake of no in game triple buffering support too. I also tend to get random crashes, and it crashes EVERY time on exiting the game for me. Multiplayer is great fun when it works but tends to be buggy and that Rockstar Social Club shit is even way worse than GFWL. I sure as shit hope GTA V is at least a slightly better port.

I have no idea why you bitches are so fucking paranoid about optimization. Rockstar fucked up once. Once for fuck's sake. They took a lot of time to work on the PC version, and just look at those min requirements, they're fucking incredibly low. GTX 9800? For real?
To be honest, you can make GTA IV look on par or even better than GTA V. You can also have a lot of peds and vehicles on screen with a draw distance that spans the entire city, and still run it at stable 60 FPS. GTA V and MP3 is running on the same old fucking engine.
Below are some of my 2376x1485 GTA IV screenshots. The only thing i'm using is the 5MB big iCEnhancer 3.0 post FX mod. And i own a mid-spec PC.
