you know usually I fucking hate Pathfinder's art but whoever they hired to make this one actually made it look decent, is it a different artist or someone who actually improved?

Funny how popular kingmaker is when the combat is brainlet shit where you buff your dudes and auto attack stuff to death. Japanese growlanser games 4 and 2 in particular are more gamey and baldurs gate like then pathfinders. 3.5 DnD combat is shit in real time. Wrath of the righteous should be turn based with story battles designed like missions instead of trash encounters similar to this https://youtu.be/eie_8SR8F4U?t=169

Real time 3.5 pathfinder combat 99% encounters feel like trash encounters. Turn based DnD now you can tailor and actually design the combat encounters where they feel unique and not trash. Maybe the best idea for wrath of the righteous is to make it hybrid. Have it designed with real time in mind in some places and turn based in others.

It is good that the witch and the oracle are in, those two classes should be in Pathfinder game. And since those two were added by mods, I'm hoping that Owlcat are looking at what else the best mods for Kingmaker provided, and are adding more of that for their next game. Traits, alternate racial traits, more archetypes, more feats, things like that. And, of course, rtwp and turnbased modes of play, with an easy way to switch between.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Grab the Codex by the pussy RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I helped put crap in Monomyth
Bloodrager pls. Fun class judging by the mod.

And with the primalist archetype, it's basically better than the Barbarian in every way.

(Except for d10 instead of d12 hitdie, but being able to cast fourth level spells is worth a very minor HP dip).

Bloodrager pls. Fun class judging by the mod.

It's not even fully implemented in the mod. It's missing the level 11 ability to cast a spell as part of entering rage, which has some really fun uses if you aren't abusing prebuffing. Bloodrager, Warpriest, Skald, and Hunter are all solid classes that can be added without substantial new mechanics or interface issues. Shifter could be implemented, but it's notoriously crap.

Will this have shit strategy elements like kingmaker kingdom management?

Will they finally add party ai?

No kingdom management but some other strategy feature that will be better connected to the gameplay according to Owlcat
They have not yet said anything about gameplay

I noticed that. I didn't say it was perfect.

I really hope they aren't going to force 2E on the third game.

2e would be nice. We would get rid of all that silliness about feats, skill ranks, class options, dozens of classes that represent the same concept and what not and go back to the system that made Baldur's Gate great.

Is the kingdom management is as bad as people make it out to be? I'm getting the game soon when its on sale again
It fleshes out the game, but it's not that well integrated into the adventuring part. Main issue many people had with it was the tying of councilor roles to companions and a few choice dependent NPCs (with their preset alignments also impacting your available choices in councilor events), but now they've solved it by allowing the use of hired mercs as councilors, although at a small councilor stat malus.

Its a cool system that enriches the experience.

Although it can take quite a bit of your time/attention.

I like it. I find it very immersive, even if it did take a while to grow on me. It fleshes you out as a ruler and your companions as advisors. It has decent C&C. I cannot imagine playing the game without it now.

It is true it should be more integrated to the adventuring. I consider that a work in progress, as Owlcat moves forward with their future titles.

It's neat but ultimately doesn't do much for you. You'd think with a bigger capital and stronger economy you'd get more merchants with better equipment for example but that's not the case.

Well PFK should've mass combat by the way. It was one of kickstarter goals. I think we got a solid chance of seeing it in wrath. Maybe in style of heroes of might and magic, because it's what Russians love and it will make sense.

Well, you can't buy it... but you can have some seriously powerful equipment be made for you.
