Since no one else has posted it, I might as well. It seems that developers really knew what to do with specially-rendered intro videos back in those days. So many of them were stylish, intriguing, and brief.

Need some older ones going on here, like:



Short, simple and to the point showcasing a relatable scenario with an escaped pet that could easily happen to any of us.

Also, who can forget this lovely, tight, action packed intro?

It was mentioned already, but here's the third game's intro. Team Silent was really good at making music video-like intros and in this one feels like it gives a more interesting impression of the themes and characters compared to how the game's story handles them in the end:

It looks so corny today but I remember back in 2004 or whatever the sense of scale it portrayed was just amazing.

was just about to post Syndicate, a true classic. This came free with my parents first pentium 95 with soundblaster (also wingcommander and ultima VIII on that cd)
