EA will suck Bioware dry untill it has nothing more to give. It's just how EA works. What I'm wondering though, can it be possily any worse than DA2?

"Our strategies could be defined as fundamentally 'defensive,'" he said. "Today, we are announcing a big shift to 'offense.'"

The first, he said, is pushing EA's stable of popular IP, including FIFA, Madden, Battlefield, Need for Speed, The Sims, Tetris, Dragon Age and other titles.

"We fully intend to make these properties into year-round businesses that lead their sectors across a range of platforms," Riccitiello said.

LOL so a 4th Quarter 2011 release is possible indeed. Ha ha, Bioware are gonna be the new Chinks/niggers. They're going to be wishing they were in a North Korean Labor camp by the time Riccitiello is finished with them.

Not saying this doesn't suck, but to be fair, he is probably talking about DLC when he says year round business. Keep pumping out DLC to keep bleeding money out of the consumers until the next game is ready.

The last bio game I played (well, I'm still playing it) is DA:O. I know I'm already a fag for playing it and whatnot, but are ME2 or DA2 even worth playing? I hated the dialog wheel in ME so much that I don't even have words for it, and I am a huge believer in stat resolved combat, so ME2 sounds like a waste of time to me, and DA2 sounds even worse.

If you hated ME you won't like ME2 either, because it's more of the same. DA2 I played 5 minutes of the demo and never touched the game again, and I actually enjoyed DA:O.

Anyway, kind of sad to see a potentially "decent" series get flushed down the toilet like it is. There's no doubt that DA3 will be rushed out and be even worse than DA2.

I bought Arcania and finished it. I can't even be bothered to pirate DA2.

Tetris DLC?

New romance options where every piece can fit together with every other piece?

Dragon Age took 5 years and was mediocre. Dragon Age 2 took 1 and a half years and it showed. Now they want to churn out games yearly? Oh, boy.

They could pull a Fallout 2 / Majora's Mask - reuse 95% of the assets from the previous games so you can still make a good game (maybe even better than the last one, depending on who you ask) in more or less one year.

And romances.

They got a lot to prove with this one. They've probably scrapped all their DLC plans for DA2 since the game is a trainwreck. They better go back to the DAO formula and have a god damn isometric camera.

Mr Hawke, do you have a comment regarding the news that the Dragon Age series is going to continue?
