Expeditions Viking is definitely my game of the year. Can't say when the last time was I went for a third play-through in a row in a game. :salute:

It's overlooked by codex because all the threads are hidden in this subforum. People would be much more aware of the game if it was in general rpg discussion

The game was pretty bad on release and that made a lot of people lose interest I guess. I want to go back to it soon since you all say it's now in a good condition

*I had a game not too far in, should I restart? Ideal difficulty?

For some people it's time. I haven't had time to play an RPG since Christmas last year.

If they make an "Expeditions: Crusader" I will throw my money at them and do free marketing around the clock with everybody I know.

Yeah, I know they will add female crusaders and stuff like that to cuck it up a little but I don't care. The format of the game is perfect for telling a story in the period between the first and second crusade.

Hell, I'd happily pay for that, not to mention Expeditions: Heart of Darkness and Expeditions: Silk Road.

Maybe not so much for Expeditions: Round the block in Detroit.

I'm on an actual spaceship. No joke.
How's the mod scene? Anything that fixes the scavenging situation? Disabling all lootable crates and awarding 25% of potential loot gained from looting every possible crate upon entering a new map or something to that effect would be nice. As a fix I decided to try playing the game without looting any crates or plants, just bodies. Resources are tight, which is to be expected, I'm not very far in yet. Not sure whether or not I should up the resource availability in difficulty options to compensate or not. What's the best balance?

Oh my God, I like the game and the premise but who thought it was a good idea to place 29428i4394843984 barrels and crates into every area?!
Another issue is Unity-based. This is on my SSD on a very fast computer. Why, then, does it take ten to twelve seconds to load Ribe or York?

Guys, I have been wanting to try this game, especially after it got such high marks in Codex GOTY 2017 voting, but the bugs and glitches horror stories kind of discouraged me so far. Have Logic Artists finished patching this already? How does it look in terms of stability and performance?

EDIT: WTF, this game has a subforum? No wonder it is so widely ignored.

This week we released what is likely going to be the last patch for the game, so now's as good a time as any to play the game.
