By staying outside and using vantage points. The game seems too cramped and fast for Glaz to have any real use as a sniper. How one supposedly plays him?

And missing all action because Bombs are in basement eith no LOS, while your teammates die and you're the last one alive? And then you go in anyway with a shitty rifle for CC and die too? (Or win, but then what's the point of being a sniper?)By staying outside and using vantage points. The game seems too cramped and fast for Glaz to have any real use as a sniper. Apparently, I can do overwatch with a pistol in this game because any reticule (even iron) is always 100% accurate at any range. He's good for providing overwatch when the rest of the team is advancing on the point and shooting at enemies through holes in walls and other openings, and the with the help of the aforementioned smoke grenades.
What? Can you select Ops after finding where Bombs are? This makes total sense. How do I do it?You could just not pick the sniper dude if you're going to attack the basement. Map/objective selection also plays a role when choosing ops.

What you mean is their bursts are inaccurate due to recoil. Which is true.some guns are quite inaccurate even with sights I think, like the P90 or the 249 SAW
Only from the hip. Once you bring up the reticle, you can do the Macarena falling from 3rd floor upside-down against a target 1 km away, and the bullet will go right where you're aiming, be it a pistol, a rifle or a LMG. (Oh, and the reticle will stay stable through the whole affair too). There's definitely a penalty for moving while shooting
The core idea behind his gadget was fundamentally flawed to begin with. Most other gadgets allow of some counterplay or require you to rethink your strategies. Like that brief synaptic connection that goes "oh shit, what now" when you see a Montagne pushing into obj or Buck breaking the ceiling above or Thermite delivering a big fucking hole right in your reinforced walls. Meanwhile BB's shield does nothing more than give him peeking superiority around corners because he can compensate shit reaction time and aim by having a shield which can tank two bullets first. Sure, he gets a movement penalty debuff if the shield's equipped, but it's negligible in the grand scale of things, and if you want an op which can hold down angles for a longer period of time effectively then Glaz is a much better pick.they fucked blackbeard so hard.
To be honest, if I'm droning out an entry point and instead get some static before my drone gets destroyed, I'd rather take another entry point than risk going in there. You don't really know where to peek and what to expect before breaching a room you just droned only to get some Vigil static, so being able to give away your presence but not your position can give the Attackers tunnel vision. That, and it's useful when rotating positions so any drones which are placed in spots with a large sight line can't spot you running to flank the others (unless the drone is really close to where you end up running and a dead guy is manning the drones 24/7). The cloak's uses are more for high-level flanking, but they're very subtle advantages. In any case it's balanced out by Vigil being a good "fragger" as you said, as a sidegrade to Caveira's superior Stealth Step (and ability to interrogate) but shitty primaries.I would say Vigil has a very dubious gadget too, it doesn't contribute anything to the team and is of questionable value to the user itself, as it gives away his position (even if not the exact spot), even if a drone would've otherwise had not noticed him. He's saved by the fact that he's a good "fragger".
His original shield was not so flimsy, it was a serious tank in a game where nearly everyone peaks and goes for headshotsBecause BB's shield is so straightforward in application, you don't really need to rethink dealing with him because in most cases you can reliably kill BB through bodyshots or a headshot after breaking his flimsy shield anyways (going for the torso or trying to get a HS through the shield both take an equal amount of bullets usually). Confident peekers can take their chances against BB with his shield on and consistently get the kill. It's only in those rare cases where you do manage to have your crosshair right on his head, but get headshotted yourself by him just as you break his shield, that you know that the only reason the other guy survived was because he picked BB.
