  1. Trends that Annoy you in Modern Games

At this moment that I lost my fucking DS stylus and as I have the old DS I can't find a replacement and have to use a pencil instead. Apart from that, I wish all games would run natively in Linux.
  2. Half Life 1 questions

I liked HL1 a lot (most of all the AI) and found HL2 slow and boring (especially all the boat/car areas). Check out this though, the HL2 comic made with the mod Garry's mod and actually very fun (like the episode when the protagonist gets teleported into CS)...
  3. Review Vault Dweller reviews Fallout 3 @ NMA

Good review, VD! I had been looking forward to this one for some time. As was said above, I wish it was longer but that's just because I wanted to read more than the 5000+.
  4. Game News $300 Million for Fallout 3 as 4.7 Million units ship

I think if you read VD's let's play FO3 again you would see where he says that you have to do a mental block to be able to enjoy the game on its own merits. What's so fucking hard about understanding this point? I'm not gonna buy it, maybe torrent it in a while when wine support is flawless...
  5. Game News News Flash: Fallout 3 is a Shooter

I think it looks like a shitty shooter too. It reminded me of a Duke3d deathmatch the way the npcs were running around all stiff.
  6. Let's play: GNOME Nethack

Nethack tells the epic tale of a lone adventurer seeking fame and eternal glor.. Not really, but it's fun anyway. Let's get started! Ok! Time for some serious dungeon crawling, oh wait what's this? Some dude wants me to retrieve the amulet of Yendor from the Dungeons of Doom (sounds pretty...
  7. Downtime tomorrow, don't panic.

Yeah it is, and it wasn't even funny the first time.
  8. Community Last chance to win a copy of Mount & Blade with MS Paint

Hey I thought it was meant to mock Tetris fans..
  9. 3d-shooter third-person recommendations

If you have a wii I recommend No more heroes, a pretty fun hack and slash. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_More_Heroes_(video_game)
  10. Game News Fallout 3 dialogue screens leaked

IMO they should just name the choices 1 through 4 and leave it at that. On the topic of black vs. African American I find it interesting that whites always have to describe a black person as black even when it's not important for what's being explained (like in "a fucking nigger almost ran...
  11. PC games of the olden days torrent pack

Can't you post this on an open tracker (I suggest TPB)? It'll just be a few days of seeding and more joy for the rest..
  12. I usually don't care for the lulz...

Clearly the guy that said he doesn't know the facts must be right. Who needs knowledge when you have common sense?
  13. Bioshock is too complex. Help!

Actually I kinda understand what that commenter tries to tell us about Oblivion. I spent some hours playing that game and I never could think of anything to do.. I ended up just running around outside. I guess you could put it that the options were plentyful but maybe not that interesting...
  14. Unofficial Arcanum Patch (Original Thread)

Great works on these fixes! I'm very happy to read your friendly updates and that nice attitude of yours is really great! In my opinion Drog deserves a new custom tag, or what do you think?
  15. To Wii or Not to Wii?

Since the games are excellent, this alone makes it a good idea to get a wii. Also you will get a chipped one for I dunno, 300 euro or less and then you can game all you want without paying anything else.
