So far I have three main issues with the new rpgcodex.

-The new ads eating into the first post in a thread. Surely there is some way other way to display them , e.g. after the first post, without distorting someone's post.
-That the new layout's width is fixed. Alot of my monitor is wasted this way and I imagine people with small screens will have to do some annoying horizontal scrolling.

-Lastly, I find showing people's avatars next to threads distracting and makes the thread list longer to scroll through as it increases the list's height.

Brofist is perfectly usable, unless you happen to be a moron*. Reduces the need for one-liners. Unfortunately doesn't bump the thread though.

*) On a forum populated by large, vocal moron minority, this might be challenging.

Fluid style seems to have a minimum resolution of 960x. I'd like to see that reduced to 720x or even 600x, if possible. :/

brofist is constantly getting abused and thus defeats its point... making it into a broshit.

I would say for a brofist to cost a 1-2% in post count. However I don't think this is possible to implement and it wouldn't to a thing against alt spammers.
So a better approach may be to only allow 1 brofist per user in a month... for those who have been registered for more than 3 months and have at least 50 posts.
This would at least diminish the problem.

^ I agree. There's nothing wrong with the brofist in concept, but it needs some kind of throttle on it so people can't abuse it.

Come to think of it, we could use a whole system of like-alikes. A "ffuuuu", a "codex heart", a "wtf do i see", a "retarded", all those pointless image macros replaced with nice little buttons. No more need for page after page of image spam, you'd have all the 4chan evaluations of a post tagged right there, like "3 hearts, 2 fffuuu, 4 trolls".
