Most of the best-selling RPGs have bad stories (and bad gameplay).
They dove deep enough into the lore to - apparently - know that Dragonborn don't poop, but a cohesive overall plot was too much to ask.

Nobody is going to argue that PST combat is good but I think it would've been a worse game if they cut it entirely. My most memorable PST moment was on a pacifist run where I had to figure out a way to get past those big armored dudes in Curst Prison so I herded them all into the cells and shut them in.
Curst Prison was absolutely a memorable moment. I rememebr PST was one of my first RPG and I didn't know how to come out of that place. I spent a week thinking about it before I tried to play it again and get out of there.

Peak RPG.

Corine Bushe, an ex-employee of Bioware, developers of the first two(good) instances of Baldurs Gate series has joined some kind of WoTC game dev studio. Swen is sweating as he's going to be completely btfo once BG4 hits, to the cheers of all the old good new bad kinds of codexers.

Seen a comment on the Steam KCD2 forum calling it Baldur's Gape 3, nearly spat my coffee out.
