A big new patch for Warhorse Studios' medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been released. Besides a large amount of bug fixes, the patch adds some new features such as PC customization, easter eggs (literal -- and maybe some not so literal), a Czech-themed weapon, and for PC a free DLC in the shape of a HD texture and sound pack.

If you found the game a bit too buggy at launch, perhaps now is a good time to give it another go.

The patch will automatically download over steam. You can grab the DLC downloads from the games' DLC shop.

There's a trick to actually download and install the HD packs coz they fucked up the Steam implementation. You have to restart Steam, re-check the DLCs in the Properties - DLC tab in the Library and wait for the download (about 10 GB).

As unfortunate as that is, at least they had the decency to make it an optional download considering it's already 30+ gb.

Oh, no that's not why they fucked it up. You see right now when you try to download the DLC and simply click the big green download button on the respective Steam page it just launches the game for some reason. So you have to go at in this roundabout, fiddly way.

a Polish-themed weapon.

In the trailer it says it's a Chech easter themed weapon, not Polish
Correct that it is Czech, because it is a stick made out of wood (sticks) and / or leather straps. Polish themed weapons would be different weapons of the saber form like the carabela or the saber with the protective closedhandle bar or the polish infamous Warhammers and Horseman picks (nadziak). But this weapons that were developed in later centuries and in the 15th century the true polish weapons (mostly different throwing blades and throwing balls on a stick) were mostly replaced by the common medival knighthood weapons. They could have used the Ciupaga / Vlaska / Bartka / Fokos which would be a common "Goralen" weapon that could have been used in Regnum Bohemiae. It would be not a "only" czechian weapon, but a weapon used throughout the slavic / hungarian mountain region. The things is that i don't know when this weapon (Ciupaga / Vlaska / Bartka / Fokos) appeared on the scene, but it is used even to day as a tool and walking stick and to show Bruce Lee that you don't mess with Baca.

Hey it does hurt if someone hits you with it.

Edit.:
Gorals are of polish origin and only later in 18th century they have settled in Hungary. So that the Ciupaga / Vlaska would be considered a polish axe due to its classification based on origin.

Um, you do realize that pomlázka is not actually a weapon? It's a symbolic whip that you beat (symbolically) women with during Easter. Polygon's gonna have a seizure when they find out lol.

Yes i do realize that pomlázka is not a weapon, but this was a joke from Warhorse and therefore i called it a stick and not a weapon, like a Baton.
But do you realise that my entire post was basically playing along with the joke making other jokes along the line packed with some historical knowledge? Or do you think that i believe that Goral Baca was fighting with Bruce Lee? And because i knew this was a joke i answered to Elex post (it’s a joke right?):
Hey it does hurt (as in having pain and not be wounded) if someone hits you with it.
It seems that you have not noticed the hints.

Nevertheless it is good that you give the codex here some knowledge about czechian Easter customs. Btw the polish do also symbolic whip the women during the Easter with Pussy willows and spray them with water "Śmigus-dyngus" / Oblévačka (in Czechia).

Edit: I have forgotten that the pussy willows supposed to be also whips for women (in Poland) and not just decorations as palm branches (Palm Sunday).
