No really has inifintron done anything of value even once?

or has it really always been shit news spam, thread merging autism followed by thread splitting autism, shilling for obsidian and trying to keep a review down for them? anything else im missing?

Because it makes sense, there are a lot of RPGCodex members playing Veilguard on day one. You can check it yourself. Meanwhile, no one on the Codex gives a flying fuck about Drova, despite having very positive reviews on Steam and over one thousand reviews.

Drova thread is at 20 pages

just checked hq & watch, no thread & empty threads respectively

the large portion of non RPG players (or AAA slop enjoyers) on the codex does not justify infintrons useless existence. more people who care about RPGs here than anywhere else, but finding new good RPGs comes from other posters (the ones you see create threads on good games in forum) and the great work of those in abu's upcoming rpg thread

wait, i just realized, Mortmal why are you still here instead of on hq or on the watch where you kept crying about codex during the bg3 fiasco? i also rarely if ever see you on the indie rpg threads

Why would an RPG forum follow a marquee release from one of the most prestigious CRPG developers of all time? Is that a serious question?

The fact that nuBioware is a Ship of Theseus and Wokeguard is a vanity project wearing a Dragon Age skinsuit doesn't matter to normies. One thing the flop of Immortals of Aveum probably taught EA was don't try new IPs, leverage existing brands for the slop.

Anyway, the steam reviews for this game are sus. Nearly every single positive review mentions the performance and lack of EA launcher as the first selling points, while barely mentioning gameplay. Reads like ad copy. Who gives a shit? Steam reviews usually talk about gameplay first. They only mention performance if it's bad, and launchers if they're annoying.

If I'm Joe Normie SteamGamer and I played this, the lack of a launcher wouldn't even register. No one plays a game on Steam and goes, "Wow, no third-party launcher. Imma tell everyone about this!" Unless the game went out of its way to say, "this game could have a separate launcher but doesn't, you're welcome," who would ever know?

I wonder if they'll finally shutter Bioware after this fails.
Long ago Bioware typed iddqd. They cannot be shuttered.

Pretty sure Electronic Arts is keeping Bioware or at least Dragon Age around as a counter-point in any public debate about their franchises stoke *toxic dudebro culture.*

There's probabsly a point where the losses outweigh the benefit, but in this case I think profit is ancillary.
