It's really too bad that the Europeans got shafted so early on. The contest would have been a lot more rowdier with them.

i'll give it a shot the night before, cause i'm hardcore and never use photoshop.

Or perhaps you'll go totally old school and just use paint?

Or...you'll be super traditional and acutally use pencil and ink!

Paint Shop Pro is the best for such a job not photoshop.

You're probably right, chris. I used Paint Shop Pro once and I immediatly felt the power. Sadly, I'm really an amateur on that program, and I didn't think I could learn it all before the contest ended. That and there seems to be a larger crowd following Photoshop, but that could just be me.

If we ever do this again, I'll be more ready.

Don't underestimate MS Paint. When you're on a government computer, can't install any software because you lack administrator access, IT support tell you that "Sorry, that program you want will cost $300 to get legit" and you need to edit an image for something, it's paint all the way, baby.

Does anyone who uses Paint Shop Pro actually expect to come out with good results? The only good results you're gonna be coming out with PSP is pixelart, and not too many people have a talent for pixelart.

Jesus christ, try something other than PSP and Photoshop for a change. Heck, try Illustrator or Freehand. Artists sure as hell don't draw with photoshop. Who the hell does that?

I heard from Hard that GIMP is good for importing and manipulating, and I've seen firsthand what OpenCanvas can do (some of the layer manipulation is quite handy). It's very good if you have a tablet and can draw, and like something that is completely free and can fit onto a floppy disk.

PSP is good for things like...making that crappy flashing Moron sig pic I gave another person at NMA.

Zombra's "feeling inadequate" poster looks awesome! Though it kinda looks like it could be a something awfull thingie.

Any program will work if you have talent and don't rely on the "bells and whistles". Photoshop is the best program that I have and the one I am most familiar with so that's what I use. As long as we are currently being covered with snow, I'll see what I can come up with tonight.
