Irrational Games are doing Irrational interviews now, and what would be more appropriate when it comes to irrational interviews than to chat up with Bethesda's Todd Howard himself.

I really hate how they both liked Oblivion's more "natural" way of starting a game.

Yes, it's more "intense" than being told how to walk forward, but not the 100th time. That's why people upload saves just before you leave the sewers/vault.

And how hard is it to have an optional tutorial like Half-Life and Deus Ex did, both which did more to pull you into the world than "press this button to do this"?

But consoletards hardkore (btw that "hardcore" means now? People who don't play Minesweeper?) gamerz want to play NOW!!!! We must make tutorial unskippable. Completely optional tutotials belongs to System Shock 2, Thief and some other ancient games no one gives a damn about. :smug:

Wait...if you do it once and save before leaving the sewers/vault, why would you need someone to upload a save for you?
