Dungeon Siege III looks pretty promising. Glad to see there's a demo of it coming out, should definitely help me decide if it's something I'd like to spend my money on.

At the very least they don't call it RPG anymore.

In Obsidian's world Alpha Protocol and Fallout 3 are RPGs.

They can't have stupid outdated top down shit to be compared to those awesome games, can they?

Hopefully the demo means that they'll improve the final build on the demo players feedback

DS3 has a close-up view option in single-player, (example) however it's quite ugly because the textures don't hold up that close. AP gave you the option of shit stealth/shit combat and 3/NV gave you the option of shit stealth/shit diplomacy/shit combat whereas DS3 only gives you the option of (shit?) combat. Plus I've watched closely and there's no to-hit chance much like TWitcher 2 and DA2. :M

There may be balance changes in a patch, but it's far too late for that now. If it hasn't gone gold already, it definitely will before any kind of valuable feedback could be provided (plus it's likely an older build so any problems may have already been corrected).

DS III is out on June 17 in Europe. The game will have gone gold by the demo's release date.
