That should give <a href="http://www.gamespy.com">GameSpy</a>'s lawyers something to write emails about again.

If you are going to get it use FileRush then pick Bittorent download, there is a ton of seeders and not alot of leechers.

I played through the SP portion. Pretty good but I couldn't figure out how to get the camera to rotate - only zoom in and out, and I have to admit I'm more of a Judge Dredd man than a superhero man.

I had to LOL when Tombstone says: "Ambush! Good." though, at the end of the SP level when the heroes get bushwhacked!

U. S. of Fuckin' A. ...and dont forget it or we'l
hold ALT to rotate... but its only on one axis and not very effective

personally i dont like the way the camera is fixed like that

plus the game just seems like more of the same from the previous - and it doesnt seem very involving or deep....... its goofy and the art direction is hip, but it reminds me of evil genius in that once you get past the flashy exterior, the actual gameplay is pretty damn boring

Yeah, I can't say I'm too impressed with this demo at all. Running down three goons before they reach a fire or YOU LOSE just isn't my idea of interesting gameplay. It's more like really bad filler content when you run out of ideas.

Anyone else still have FF on their HD? , I do and I think they changed the camera angle and not in a good way. It seems the zoom in curve is steeper. for a brand new engine it doesn't look any different as far as I can tell, but the original seems to play much better than this demo.

The textures seemed improved to me. Yeah.

I'm still getting the game, though.

They are using GameBryo, aka NetImmerse 5. Freedom Force used an earlier version of NetImmerse. The game looks the same because it's essentially the same engine with a bunch of graphical tweaks and real time lighting added to it. Cast a fireball and watch the shadows shift as the fireball passes by.
