Superior neanderthal mind and programming genius Cleveland Mark Blakemore has published an updated version of Grimoire demo, which is supposed to run (more or less) flawlessly on x64 machines.

Grab it here: http://www.filedropper.com/grimoiredemov131 -- and be sure to let us know whether your x64 machine can run it!

If you enjoy the demo, you may also want to consider contributing to Cleve's crowdfunding campaign at IndieGoGo: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/grimoire-forever

For those who have been hiding in the bushes for the past 17 years, check out our earlier newspost for more details. (Kudos to Infinitron for keeping it updated.) In case you've forgotten, Grimoire is that turn- and grid-based Wizardry 7 killer and best game of 1997.

Is his fundraiser still going on? Wasn't that supposed to run for 6 months or something.

To get more funding, Cleve should sue Grimrock for stealing the "Grim" from his game. Grimoire was here first!

While i had no crashes during the several attemps of my party members to penetrate asleep fishes, it still far from working flawlessly, doubleclicking the character portraits put the game to an halt with mouse cursor acting weirdly and music suttering. Same things when accessing the spellbooks.

I also found the BrokenForum LP and all I want to say is that if the noble and valiant snobs of the Codex be labeled trannies and KKK sympathizers then I am proud to say I will fight and die to hold this ground proudly alongside the trannies, belgian sodomites and drug addicted socialists of the RPG Codex. I would rather be counted amongst the high heels and spent hypodermic needles of the dead who held some high standards in life than be numbered with the living of the popamole sellouts, hoi polloi and philistines of other sites, who have never worn a monocle in their life. Decline now, decline tomorrow and decline forever, at least until Grimoire or the new Planescape Torment/Wastelands is released. Decline I say, all is decline.

He loves us! He really loves us! *sob*
