With the game set to be released in less than two weeks, today's Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter update is dedicated to the relevant logistical issues. Turns out there's going to be a unique special edition for Kickstarter backers after all:

Time to get those physical rewards

It's time to get those physical rewards so we really need your address.

If you haven't created a Larian Vault account yet or if you haven't filled in your address (or if your address changed), please do so now. We'll start shipping things as soon as next week and are hoping to have all goods out of the door in the next couple of weeks.

Shipping will happen in batches so if we have your details now, you'll be included in the first batch.

Steam Early Access codes will expire on release

Everybody who backed us on Kickstarter received a Steam Early Access code. We promised however that you'll be able to select which platform you want to receive your digital download on, so on the day of release, the Kickstarter Early Access codes will stop working and you'll need to log in to the Larian Vault to select which platform you want to play on. You will then get a new code.

If you purchased the game on Steam Early Access, don't worry, your codes will keep on working. This message only applies to the Steam Early Access codes that were given away to our backers.

New Update on Steam Early Access - Go go Belgium!

When Belgium won their first match in the world cup we were so excited that we released an ad-hoc Steam Early Access update. In case you missed it, here's the link to the full changelist.

You should all cross your fingers that they'll win the next match because who knows what will happen then....

So, get your ass to the Larian Vault and fill in your information if you haven't done so already.

Is anyone interested in those divine divinity and beyond divinity keys? I've already bought those games anyway.
Send me a message if interested

Edit:
Beyond divinity goes to Surf Solar, I still have the divine divinity key left

Did people who gave money to the Codex fundraiser also get boxes? Somebody donated in my name for me so I wasn't really paying any attention to what was what.

They (we) are supposed to get (non-signed) boxes, yeah. As long as your donation (or the one in your name) is at least $100. We don't know all the details on shipment etc. yet though; Angthoron's doing his best to take care of that.

Supposed to be the case. I'll clear up some things with Swen this week, and depending on what he says, I might need you people to create Larian Vault accounts and then send me your bank details account names.

I thought DU said the Codex was dealing with the shipping, not sure if that changed though:

NOTE: Larian have said that all physical items have to come to the Codex first and will then be sent out to you at our cost. Now that may change later. However, depending on what happens, what that cost is - and how many gold bricks we have spare from casino advertising at the time - we'll either write that cost off or arrange / work something out at the time. We may even have some other awesome Codexian stuff to throw in then too. Who knows!

Cool, can you remind me where to go to see what was donated?

Yeah, but that's retarded - shipping to and then from Australia; not to mention, who's gonna cover the costs? I hope Larian can be cooperative on this and just ship the goods directly like they ship them to all other backers.

Angthoron will have all the juicy details soon enough, I hope. :P

I just got a response from Swen, will be talking to some other guys next, including Kirill:bounce: regarding shipping.

In case we will end up doing things through Larian Vault like I hope we will, please people, go ahead and register your accs and put up the shipping address info right away, so I won't need to take long to collect your info for them.

Can I still do this if the money came from somebody else but the donation is in my name? I'm confuse.
Yes yes.

what about those of us who are only getting a key?

Okay, bros - for your pledge deliveries, Larian wants YOU to make a Larian Vault account and then send ME the account name (usually the e-mail with which you register).

I give sweet fuck-all about your e-mails, so don't worry about me registering you to tranny/midget porn sites. This is just so they can use their logistics company to send you your physical shit.

Pls to do asap.

Game is on sale on Steam now as a daily deal. I'll wait till winter when it's 50+% off because the game will have patched and some community modules will be finished.

It's not like I have a shortage of games to play though.
of comparable quality?

Bears thinking about. The norm among gamers is to keep their eyes fixed on the future. The Codex is an anomaly in that it venerates the past. If this KickStarter well doesn't dry out and delivers as promised, our priorities may change to match that of other gaming communities.

I'm hoping that, by the time kickstarter stops being a thing, publishers will get that crpgs are still something the gaming community wants
