Worthplaying has one of those unofficial patch mod dealies for Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines. Here's a changelog:

Continued adjusting locations names by changing bus and sewer maps.

Restored female Sabbat and put three into the first Hollowbrook map.

Corrected a wrong dialogue option for female Malkavians with Nadia.

Made cemetery quest easier and fixed Romero raising female firearms.

Removed unused subdirectories on two of the Kamikazi Zen computers.

Fixed several dialogue errors regarding Beckett, Flayton and Hatter.

Corrected dialogue getting cut of at Fu Labs for Nosferatu players.

Placed Pearl of Dubai and other cut items in pawnshop and elsewhere.

Added the missing Dodge II manual to second Giovanni Mansion level.

Created Justicar guards at Giovanni Mansion and fixed a synchro bug.

Put the unused male asian nurse model into the Santa Monica clinic.

Fixed Carson's appartment key not being removed when it's been used.

Corrected formatting of a few haven pc emails and the Sin Bin note.

You know, if they're going to mod it up, I think adding additional methods of doing a lot of the main quest stuff would be nice.

Since when modding is news?

And its not a patch, its a mod.

As I said, it's a patch. It fixes bugs Troika left in the game :)
The rest is a bonus, unwanted or not.

Its a mod that hides under game fixes.

And mods are no news or I start to link to TS2 daily updates since they are the same thing.

It's a mod, a patch fixes errors, a mod changes gameplay.

Well, you can argue semantics all day long. The bottom line is that this mod, patch, whatever fixes things AND makes some changes. Overall, I applaud the folks behind the thing - they obviously care about the game and I like alot of the changes overall.

We need non-Oblivion news, so mod news is fine. Except when Oblivion mods start getting made.

Patch 1.9/2.0 will be very interesting.

Why, anything special planned?
They're trying to mess around with models. Perhaps new weapons/npcs will be included but what's more important, the development haven't stopped, even if that pisses you off :p

Allowing characters to change their appearance would be nice, with different looking types of armor. That was one of my major complaints about Bloodlines, all malkavian guys in leather armor looked alike.

That is not possible, unless you use something as a launcher program to create and delete custom files so you "select" your character model before you even launch the game.

(I remenber that is possible because AG2 does not allow adding more outfits or any other custom content so someone created a niffy launch program to "replace" models)

Dont wait, V:B was build using a early version of Source and Activision cannot release it (since Valve owns it, Activision just licensed it) and Valve is unlikely to release it since not only its from a early build of Source but they did not developed it (Troika did).

So the V:B SDK was created by a now dead company and owned by a company that licensed the engine.

Yep, the sad news came straight from the Devs mouth. No V:B SDK EVER.
That's why I'm hoping for a complete SOURCE port with the extractors they made.

So to see it being shut down the moment it goes online?

You think Activision will simply allow someone to release the game for free?

No. It'll be an underground and illegal mod the moment they'll publish something made with source using the original models or content.
I'd just like to get it before Activision (if they care anyway) goes berserk.
