The last time we posted news about Kingdom Come: Deliverance back in April, we learned that the next version of the game's technical alpha, which would introduce combat, horse riding, and other core features, would be revealed at E3. Well, E3 has arrived, and with it, a fancy new trailer introducing those features. Check it out:

Impressive. It appears that the new alpha version has yet to be released to backers. There'll probably be a Kickstarter update about this later.

On top of that, we are developing our own proprietary RPG-MAKING TOOLS for easy development of this and any future content, including custom support for game design, animations, branching dialogue, clothing definitions, etc. We plan to release these tools to the modding community.

My God! The lovely details... the realistic 15th century dwellings, the overhead map, the Darklands-like character inventory, the Hussite heresy setting...

Things are deemed impossible or unlikely, until someone makes them real.
Ultima Underworld would probably be seen as unfeasable in 1990.

Let's have faith that something new will at least come out of this.

One thing conspicuously absent from the presentation though was any mention of skills or experience points. Have they said anything about that?

Yeah they have, quite a bit. Should be in their kickstarter pitch I think. Lot of stuff is stat based, there are some perks etc.
