Yes it is important to keep your avatars. It helps with setting the identity of the posters. I had Zed as that mustache guy who always makes a point about some boomer DnD shit from the 70's and 80's.
I'm going to have a bit of fun switching between a few of the various D&D/AD&D avatars I've added, before reverting either to Parkinson's Sturm Brightblade or back to Zed Duke of Banville himself.
