I've actually never seen a Skyway post I disagree with. True story, not trolling. Dunno what ya'll niggas so upset about. He does have his encyclopedia of catch phrases that he applies alot to describe alot of different games, but so many next gen games are trying to copy the exact style gameplay of the other that their unoriginal usage is almost evidential of the unoriginality in the games themselves (if that makes any sense)

In other words, he could use a vocabulary upgrade, but his opinions are sound.

It's the whole 'born-again-Christian' thing that gets on people's nerves. He's always sounded like a guy who thought Halo and BG were the greatest games ever until a few years ago and is now trying to shout the loudest about how hardcore he is. Then someone posted a list of his reviews from a few years ago, showing that that was PRECISELY the explanation behind his attitude.

Hence the lulz.

i think some n00bier and awfully eager lads at the Codex, upon first learning of certain legendary dev-fights or Rosh-posts, attempt to emulate...and always ultimately fail.

thing is, i ain't exactly hopeful of the industry, and many times i agree that certain things sound like shit. or certain games could have or should have been better. but instead of writing meaningless banal boring shit posts about games i haven't played yet...or deciding i hate something because i just know it's going to suck popamoles...i attempt to go over to the boards of the relevant games and give (what i hope is) meaningful criticism, ideas, and feedback in hopes that a conversations or debate is sparked wherein a dev or two sees it and says "you know, people really seem to want this or that, etc" fucks sake, i hated Fallout 3 enough and have hope for New Vegas i've already created 3 fake accounts at Bethesda's board after my ip's got banned at home and work for this purpose.

but sitting around the Codex like doll with a pull string saying the same 5 lines every goddamn day is utterly worthless. like "you could kill yourself and nobody would care" type worthless.

Except that some people are much better conditioned to reality than you are, and don't need to pretend that their opinion matters at any stage of the development, in order to maintain some level of interest on any game.

you missed my point, fuckface.

EDIT: i mean, i don't care if people read what i write and take anything from it. but sitting in a corner and saying "banalboringshitpopamole" helps nobody and is as banalboringshitpopamole as the very thing you're lashing out against.

I always thought Halo was shit. No - it's more like I've changed my opinion once in 5 years on a few games after trying something vastly superior which for some reason caused the major butthurt of people who however is OK with changing their views on games every month very radically (see Fallout 3, DA, ME2) when loving or hating the game becomes cool.
