That's the only example he ever gives in these interviews! :x

C'mon, Chris, don't let your bros here down.
Yeah, they should do what Bio did with ME2 and spoil 50% of the game before it's even out!
Don't be a smartass. They don't need to give out huge spoilers for the game's story, but they can at least give a few more examples of this great cnc their game supposedly has.

Oh please. He clearly states that the game will still be perfectly playable no matter your build.
It's funny how when Bethesda states the same Codex goes raging, but when it's Obsidian - so many excuses suddenly appear

well, he said that you'll always be a badass, either major or minor. What I don't know is if the enemies will also be badasses, or if it'll be rapeville all the time.

Well, I believe this is what Skyway argues, that no matter what you choose you'll fly your way through the game. It's not obvious only from the interview, but considering the current trend it would be a fairly safe assumption.

And I don't believe that Fallout 1 or 2 are completable by spreading skill points all around and not specializing in anything. I never tried, but I don't see such a character getting past the Enclave soldiers for example.

You had to specialize some in Fallout 1 since you were never given enough experience to acquire a ton of levels and sps, the game is pretty short.

In F2 though, I remember buliding a character with a high small guns, speech, lockpick, and science, and a pretty good score in repair and unarmed (high enough to win the boxing fights in Reno and San Fran).
